I am absolutely hooked on making these window color pictures again.It's so much fun! The Marabu fun&fancy window color paint works so much better than anything else you can get in the U.S., it's just the right thickness, easy to clean up when you make a mistake, and looks very pretty when it's dry. I also had no problem at all peeling the finished pictures off the sheets (which I always had with other paint). See attached my first "art" works. The ones that are not peeled off yet are a 1st birthday present for my granddaughter and will be sent to Austria in a few days. (The mushroom is a drawing my daughter made a  few years ago and the frog is from her favorite children's book...) I'll be ordering more colors soon... :-) I'm glad I found your website! I have spent a couple of years painting window clings for myself so I can do pretty Christmas window displays. After a lot of pushing from Friends & Family I decided to try and sell my Christmas cling at Christmas fairs etc. To my surprise they went down a storm. with regular customers coming back the for more. After starting a family I wasn’t working as much so I decided to try and sell my clings on EBay all year round, not just at Christmas fairs. I have only been selling for a few months now & it was going really well until my paint supplier stopped selling Marabu Fun & Fancy. It’s really difficult to get hold of these paints on a regular basis in the UK. So when I came across windowbutterflies.com and breathed a sigh of relief. I found the site very easy to use and when I needed help, the response was almost immediate. Using the tips and instructions provided, I made my first window cling and it was easy to do! I ordered a bottle of clear window cling paint to adhere the edges of a piece of lace curtain to my window - it worked great! Just for fun, I ordered one of the "Starter Kits" - SO very cool! I sat down last night and decided to do my first project with the Marabu paints. I thought about what to do and then I found a pattern for a luna moth. There is a story behind this creature. My family gathered every year for Memorial Day at my brother's camping place. My son, Ben, who was around 20 at the time, went also. One evening we all got in our vehicles and went to dinner in Chincoteague, Virginia. Heading back Ben was in front of my boyfriend and me, in a lowered GMC pickup that he had as a project truck. At the entrance to the camping grounds, we had to stop at the booth and check-in. My boyfriend and I saw Ben stop, flap his arms around wildly inside the truck, and then get out so fast we thought his truck was on fire. Seems a luna moth had gotten inside his truck and was flying around. He is petrified of flying insects!! We all watched and laughed so hard at my son trying to get away from this moth. It was pretty big, but harmless. So his 26th birthday is July 10th, and I have made my first project for him. He will love it. Wish it could fly!
